Entry # 11

Journal entry made by Megan on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 20:54:19 (EDT)

Hey,
Sorry it has been so long. The Atlanta Open went very well for me. It was my very first qualifying competition. In the short program I skated a clean program & placed 13th out of 20. In the long, another clean program, I placed 8th out of 14. I am so proud of myself that i went out there and did what I need to do!

Well the Atlanta Open is next week and I can't wait.  I skate my short the 13 at 1:00 and my long on the 14 at 12:20. My programs look great and I can't wait to show them off.
I am going to put some new pictures up and a full bio soon. Wish me luck at the Atlanta.

Hey everyone,
My exhibition at the Magnolia went very well. The judges gave me a lot of feedback and now I know what I really need to work on.
My next competition will be the Atlanta Open, June 12, 13, & 14.

Hey,
Tomorrow is my exhibition which is in preparation for the Magnolia Open. The Magnolia is March 14, 15,& 16.
The Magnolia Open is for non-qualifiying levels only, but this year they included IJS evaluations for the Juvenile & Intermediate levels. I skate Saturday the 15 at 3:45, I will do my intermediate short program.
  That's all for now.

Entry # 2

Journal entry made by Megan on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 19:39:21 (MST)

Hi Everbody,
I attended the South Atlantic Non-qualifying Regionals (October 12-14) and here is how it went. I skated at the Open-Juvenile level and for my freeskate I received 6th out of 11. For compulsories I placed 1st out of 6 and in my spins event I placed 1st out of 6 also. I am happy with the outcome.
Next year the regionals will again be in Pennsylvania which I plan to attend. I will be competing at the Intermediate level and hope to advance on to Junior Nationals.
